Four years ago, 1,880 residents placed their trust in me and our vision for Ward 3. We came just 102 votes short of earning a seat on City Council. While the election ended in 2022, my commitment to this City never did.

Since then, I have continued serving our community because I believe leadership is about more than holding office. It is about showing up, listening, giving back, and working every day to make our community stronger. Through public service, volunteering, supporting arts and culture, and working alongside community organizations, I have remained committed to the City that has given me so much. 

Over the past seven years, Sault Ste. Marie has become the place where I have built my career, served my community, and chosen to build my future. It is the place where I have found purpose, built lasting relationships, and discovered what it truly means to belong. Today, I am proud to call the Sault home. 

I am running because Sault Ste. Marie has everything it needs to succeed. We have hardworking people, strong neighbourhoods, beautiful natural surroundings, growing industries, and a community that cares deeply about one another. 

At the same time, families are feeling the pressure of rising costs. Workers want good-paying jobs and economic security. Seniors deserve to remain active and connected. Businesses need the confidence to invest and grow. Young people deserve the opportunity to build their future right here at home. 

As a Ward 3 resident, these are not just issues I hear about. They are the conversations I have with my neighbours and the challenges I want to help solve. Over the coming months, I'll be knocking on doors across Ward 3 to hear your ideas, your concerns, and your hopes for the future. Whether you supported me in 2022 or you're meeting me for the first time, I would be honoured to earn your trust and your support.
